(V)Spicy Bean Burgers


1 tin mixed beans

1 tsp chilli powder

Jamaican jerk seasoning 



1 lime

Smoked paprika 

1 tbsp tomato puree

1 tsp cumin seeds

Handful fresh coriander chopped

Salt & Pepper


Mix all ingredients up in a bowl, add lime juice, salt and pepper to taste then mash with a potato masher.  

Form into 6 patties chill for at least 1 hour (if possible overnight) to allow patties to set.

Place on a baking tray and cook for 25-30 mins in a medium oven.

Serve with triple cooked wedges, and a spoonful of goats/sheep’s yogurt.
